Looking for a local corn maze or hayride in East Midlands, England?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of those in East Midlands, England, sorted by county. Some are huge corn mazes with hayrides, pumpkins, corn cannons, inflatables and others are simple corn mazes with little else.  Most also have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn cannon, cow train, inflatables, farm animals, pumpkin patch or zip lines.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. A LWAYS call before you go to confirm whether they are open this year and any requirements, they don't always report changes to me, and many closed permanently due to the covid lockdowns!

  • The Wistow Maze - cornfield maze
    The Estate Office, Wistow Hall, near Great Glen, Leicestershire, LE8 0QF, Phone: 07884 403889. Open: Check website for dates (usually open 10am - 6pm daily (last admission 4.30pm) 7 days a week from a  Saturday in mid July through the first Sunday in September;(then weekends only until Sunday 20th September). Enjoy a great day out exploring one of the country's largest maize mazes, set in 8 acres of living maize and sunflower crop. It's great exercise for mind and body! Perfect for all ages, with staff/office outings even more popular than school trips! Refreshments, ice creams and gifts are available in the FUNYARD. Opposite the maze is the Wistow Rural Centre with a cafe/bistro, Mediterranean deli, garden centre, model village (with trains), art gallery and a large variety of other shops (click on WRC link for more details).
