A visitor writes on October 28, 2010: "We went here for the pumpkin patch last year. My children were almost 2 and almost 4 at the time and they had their best pumpkin patch experience here! The prices were reasonable and they ask only for a canned food/ money donation to enter. Some activities were free, such as the huge pile of straw for kids to jump around in, other cost tickets. The tickets could also be used to pay for food or for any pumpkins/plants bought so we did not end up wasting any money by bringing extra tickets home with us. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was able to buy all of the pumpkins I needed for my major pie baking project. The patch had run low on pie pumpkins, but I was allowed to purchase some that had been reserved for pumpkin painting since the weekend was drawing to a close. I would recommend this place to anyone and despite a 45 minute drive I would certainly be frequenting it had I not moved out of the state. My only complaint was the mess I had to clean up because my younger child had a little too much fun with the pumpkin painting ;)."
